DIY Flat Panel Speakers

Over the summer of 2021 I decided to experiment with flat panel speakers and exciters. After doing some research, I built the two designs pictured to the left. The speakers are simply pieces of insulation board with an exciter attached to the back.

Future plans for this project include testing mounting options and performing frequency response analysis, especially compared to traditional speakers. This is mostly a project I am taking on out of my own curiosity and I look forward to hearing the results.
